September 2005: Met both agents - the first took us to properties which needed far too much work! The second brought us to see a good range of prospective properties at reasonable prices | ||||||

I will be posting my experiences of buying a small property in le Marche during the period 2005-07. July 2004: worked throught Le Marche and Abruzzo and fell in love with these regions. Noticed the price of property was quite cheap - much more so than in Tuscany and the north. August 2005: saw two advertisements in an Italian magazine and decided to make apppointments with these property agents. Decided upon Le Marche since it seemed better connected than Abruzzo. September 2005: Booked a week in Le Marche and requested tours of suitable properties. Since we did not want to spend years restoring a wreck, the remit given was that it had to be possible to live in the property without extensive renovations | ||||||
