This is a typical Italian mountain road, near the Italian side of the Passo di Piccolo Gran San Bernardo. In winter this road is frequently impassable and most Italian mountain passes have advance notices to state whether they are open or closed. Being an important ski area, the roads are kept open as far as possible. With a bit of planning and determination, you could be driving and having fun on a road such as this! | ||
