From a distance (try it) this looked like an ordinary (is there such a thing?) crib but closer examination revealed an ingenious use of sea shells. Various mollusc and assorted shells have ben employed, creating a fascinating effect. Although there are no facial features, it is easy to identify the Blessed Virgin and Joseph. | ||
