I asked the lady if I could take a photo and she was delighted! I'm none the wiser whether her magnificient variety of fish meant more to her than being in the picture herself! The location was Modena, near Bologna and well worth a visit. It reminds me that the simple elements in Italian life are worth capturing. Modena is situated inland, in the region of Emillia Romana. The fish probably came from the Mediterranean Sea.The market is completely indoors and a welcome change from the summer heat. | |||
